[00:00:04] Speaker A: And we are so excited to be your hosts for another deep dive into all things Traction Wreck. You know, we're all about bringing you the latest updates, the coolest features, and making sure that you're getting the absolute most out of your Traction Wreck experience. [00:00:16] Speaker B: That's right. And today we are diving headfirst into something that you're going to be using every single day. The new finance experience that just dropped with version 60. [00:00:26] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. This is not just like a little tweak or a minor update. This is a complete reimagining of how you handle financials within Traction Rack. [00:00:34] Speaker B: Exactly. They went all in on this one. The goal was to move beyond just simple improvements to actually solve those really annoying pain points, you know, the ones that we all have with managing our finances, and make your financial interactions so much smoother, faster, more insightful. [00:00:50] Speaker A: Okay, so let's jump right in. And the first thing we have to talk about is the Finance Hub. [00:00:54] Speaker B: Okay. [00:00:55] Speaker A: Right. So instead of having to click around a million different screens, you've now got this one Stop Shop for everything. Transaction history, upcoming bills, payment methods. It's all right there. [00:01:08] Speaker B: I love that. [00:01:08] Speaker A: I know. And you had actually mentioned this to me earlier, and I was playing around with it, and I have to say, it's pretty slick how they've pulled it all together. [00:01:15] Speaker B: Yeah. What's so fascinating about the Finance Hub is that it really addresses the needs of both staff and users simultaneously. So for. For staff, it's like having this, like, crystal clear financial dashboard right there in front of them. [00:01:28] Speaker A: Like a command center. [00:01:30] Speaker B: Exactly. And it makes reporting and analysis a breeze. But then for users, it provides this incredible transparency into their payment history. [00:01:39] Speaker A: Oh, that's a good point. [00:01:40] Speaker B: And it really builds trust and eliminates those moments where you're like, wait a minute, where did my money go? [00:01:45] Speaker A: Yeah, for sure. I think that's something everyone has experienced at some point or another. [00:01:49] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:01:50] Speaker A: So, speaking of payments, one thing that really stood out to me when I was testing this out was how easy it is to manage stored accounts now. [00:01:59] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:01:59] Speaker A: Like a few clicks and you can add, delete, or update your payment method. [00:02:03] Speaker B: So much better. [00:02:04] Speaker A: It's so much better. Remember the old system? [00:02:07] Speaker B: Ah, don't even remind me. [00:02:08] Speaker A: It was a nightmare. So it was a nightmare. [00:02:10] Speaker B: This is a huge improvement. [00:02:12] Speaker A: And you know, it's funny because it seems like such a small change. [00:02:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:16] Speaker A: But it has such a huge impact because it really empowers users to have Control over their own payment methods. [00:02:24] Speaker B: Right. It's like independence. [00:02:25] Speaker A: Yes, exactly. And it also frees up staff from having to deal with those tedious administrative tasks. [00:02:32] Speaker B: Oh, tons of time saved. [00:02:34] Speaker A: So much time. Think about all those recurring memberships or event registrations that you have to manage. [00:02:39] Speaker B: Right. [00:02:40] Speaker A: Managing those payments just became a breeze. [00:02:42] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. And that actually reminds me of another big improvement. The whole payment management system just got a seat. Serious upgrade. [00:02:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:49] Speaker B: Sorting transactions, allocating credits. It all just feels so much more intuitive. [00:02:52] Speaker A: For sure. [00:02:53] Speaker B: Like, I can definitely see this saving people a ton of time and headaches down the road. [00:02:57] Speaker A: Absolutely. The ability to quickly sort transactions and allocate credits is a game changer for efficiency and accuracy. [00:03:04] Speaker B: And, you know, by Streamlining those processes, TractionRec is minimizing the potential for errors, which in the end, benefits everyone involved. [00:03:12] Speaker A: Oh, for sure. Okay, so here's another feature that I think people can be really excited about. [00:03:16] Speaker B: Okay, what's that? [00:03:17] Speaker A: And this one is specifically for all of us who have ever had to explain a refund to our boss. [00:03:22] Speaker B: Oh. [00:03:23] Speaker A: And completely blanked on why we issued it. [00:03:25] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, I've been there. [00:03:26] Speaker A: So the new mandatory refund reason feature is going to be a lifesaver. [00:03:30] Speaker B: I love it. [00:03:31] Speaker A: Now every time you issue a refund, you have to provide a reason. [00:03:35] Speaker B: Makes sense. [00:03:36] Speaker A: Right? So it creates this super transparent and accountable system. [00:03:39] Speaker B: That's great. It might seem like a really small tweak, but requiring that refund reason is actually a really powerful step towards greater financial accountability. Because now there's a clear audit trail which can be invaluable for, you know, internal reviews or even resolving any kind of disputes that might come up. [00:03:58] Speaker A: Right, right. It's all about having that documentation. And okay, one last thing I want to touch on because I think it's really important. The revamp interface for manual account adjustments is so user friendly. [00:04:10] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. Yes. It's so good. [00:04:12] Speaker A: I know, right? Those, like, complex tasks like adjusting balances are now intuitive and practically error proof. [00:04:19] Speaker B: Seriously, it's amazing. [00:04:21] Speaker A: It really is. [00:04:21] Speaker B: Like, the streamlined interface is not just about aesthetics or anything like that. It's really about making those potentially complex tasks easier and more efficient for staff. Which, you know, reduces the chance of mistakes and ensures that your financial records are accurate.
